There is much to tell- too much for this sleepy momma- but the highlight is that she is out of surgery and is sleeping well.
The larger kidney was taken out with the connecting adrenal gland.
It is still being debated and tested as to whether Claire has cancer or not.
Dialysis is not an option as of now to give Claire time to heal. They will try after at least 48 hours.
On the bright side, Mom and Dad got to hold Claire for a few minutes today.
Mom is scheduled to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, but is still restricted to do minimal activity for the next few weeks. This includes no driving, no bending or exercise, and short walks.
