Claire had a rough couple of days with her teething. She's getting two beautiful new molars which has uncomfortably made her gums bleed, but she's taking it amazingly well.
Update from San Antonio says they're closing Claire's case for now until her bladder is big enough to allow the kidney to function properly. They will reassess her case in August and determine then if she is ready for the transplant list. Mom and Dad are communicating with the urologist to see how we can get to the next step.
Father's Day was spent lounging around the house watching movies, playing with toys, and doing whatever Daddy wanted which included swimming in the newly cleaned pool that Hr had been working so hard on recently. It was a relaxing, fun-filled day.
Thank you, readers, for your thoughts and prayers. Even though this struggle towards a kidney and all the consequential struggles are part of our lives now, there are days when it becomes too much. With the support of our family and friends, we couldn't be more blessed. Please keep in mind that we are not the only family with these struggles.
